This artifact connects with my core competency because it is showing a demonstration of how me and my group members had mixed chemicals with other chemicals to decide whether they were acids or bases. the skills that were gained from this project were working with group members and communicating and understanding the work that is being done and applying these skills on future group projects. Also demonstrating safety techniques while working with chemicals in the lab.
What is your strength in group work? How do you use this to actively contribute during group work activities?
My strength in group work is questioning and understanding and solving the answer and using critical thinking while solving the problems with fellow group members
I contribute these skills by making sure the other group members understand the math problem and using critical thinking with the questions and working as a team to solve these equations
What does it mean to be disciplined in math? How do you show you are disciplined in this course?
to be disciplined in math means to be respectful to one another while solving questions to respect people’s answers even though they might be wrong and to listen while the teacher is talking
I show it by being respectful to other classmates and the teacher and listening while the teacher is talking and participating in class activities
As an active listener, I notice that that i can pay attention when the teacher is talking and make sure that the instructions that are given to me can be applied and executed well in my work and I also pay attention to detail.
I use evidence to make judgements or decisions as demonstrated in my work I always make sure to see my decisions or my evidence before i can use it my work because analyze what judgement or decision before i put it in my i need to make sure that these judgements or decision will be good and i need to see they would be any consequences or errors in my work
My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks include making sure that it isn’t false information that would affect my work in any way possible so i make sure to analyze this information before i can use it. Another one would be checking if it is plagiarized from any source because plagiarizing from another source can end up in a lot of consequences. And i finally make sure to give credit to the source i took the information from because you need to cite your work.
