Cast Iron Skillet Pizza

Making and Sharing Reflection

Making the Cast iron skillet pizza took 2 days, on the first day we made the dough and the second day we cooked the pizza and added the toppings. Individually my partner and I have sperate jobs we agreed to do I was In charge of sifting the ingredients’ into a bowl and my partner went to pick up and measure the other supplies we needed, then when the dough was ready we both took turns mixing it with a wooden spoon. For our topping we added cheese and spinach but you could add anything you’d like.

Core Competency Reflection

As an active listener, I notice that I always listen to my partner and always listen to instructions.

One of the ways I ensure my group is clear on the common purpose is to have a conversation before we start cooking so everyone knows what their job is and what they have to do.

I know the group is working well together when I see everyone working quietly on their jobs that they were assigned.

My goal is to read instructions more and to ask questions before we start cooking so I wont need to do it during.

Breakfast Hash

Making and Sharing Reflection

Making this breakfast hash was very enjoyable, I made it with my patenter Alissia. Me and my partner fully read the recipe beforehand so we would know exactly what to do. afterwards we picked what we were going to do separately, went and did them and supported each other if we needed any help or something needed two people. although if we were both not very clear on what to do we would ask the rest of our group. after finishing cooking the meal, we decided for our design we were going to put basil, salt and pepper. We followed the steps step by step and after completing everything we made our delicious breakfast hash.

Core Competency Reflection

  1. I know the group is working well together when I hear/see them asking questions and all doing their work quietly.
  2. Examples where I communicate clearly and purposefully can be seen when Ms. Bolli gets us to talk about the recipe before we start cooking and me and my partner decide who’s getting what ready to be cooked.
  3. One of the ways I ensure my group is clear on the common purpose is to all talk and read the recipe together first and make sure before we start everyone is clear on everything they have to do.
  4. My goal for moving forward is to read instructions more and ask my partners for help if I need any.
