A key concept in finding the GCF and LCM is factoring.

  • GCF: Greatest Common Factor
  • LCM: Least Common Multiple
  • Prime Numbers: a whole number that has exactly two factors: 1 and itself
  • Composite Numbers: a whole number greater than 1 that has more than 2 factors
