2.6 Graphing Rational Functions

Do you guys remember how to graph a function? Back in Math 10, we graphed different linear equations such as lines, slopes etc…

It’s finally time to graph a rational function! How exciting!

But first, what is a rational function?

A rational function is f(x) = g(x)/ h(x), where g(x) and h(x) are both polynomials.

The domain of the function can be all real numbers except for 0!
