Communication

In foods class, one of the most important skills to know is communication among partners. If you don’t have good communication skills, you could sacrifice the dish you’re making. With my partner, we have great communication skills. We always know what to do and when to do it. In the scones lab me and my partner really showed our skills, cause when making those you need to really know whats going on and what to do. I’d rate our communication a 9 out of 10.

Knife Skills

Knife Skills are important when cooking cause if you have bad ones, you could hurt you or yourself . In our Omelettes lab, we had to carefully use the knife to cut small vegetables so we could add them to our meal. I feel I did a great job at cutting. I didn’t cut myself and when it came to washing the dishes. In the picture below, it is of our omelettes we made, inside is vegetables such as peppers, spinach, tomatoes, and potatoes, which we had to cut into small sizes using our knife skills. So I’d give it a 8 out of 10.

Most Memorable Food Experience

My Most Memorable food experience was the time I ate spaghetti at Boston Pizza. Back in 2017, when I still lived in Whitehorse, I went to Boston Pizza with my grandpa for Spaghetti Tuesday. When we walked in the door, there were people sitting down eating and the TV’s were playing hockey as usual. The nice waitress greeted us and then walked us to the seat. Once I ordered, I waited for 10 minutes till it came out. Once it came out, I ate it and it tasted good, then we left. The reason why is because that was the last time I went to Spaghetti Tuesday with my grandpa before I moved away.
