Reflection

a. Yes I was able to identify an environmental issue because it was talked about a lot during my research. I was able to figure out the problem from my research on the beetle. I found my solution after learning about the natural protection of trees.

b. I did not start my project with a design in mind but after research I found it was not difficult to come up with my design. I found Jasper didn’t have many issues because the environment is very important to the town.

c. I believe I am satisfied with my solution because it uses natural ways to solve the problem without damaging the ecosystem. I believe that over time the trees will be able to heal themselves and the problem will be resolved. it will also make it easier to fight an infestation again.

d. In the future I would like to go deeper into my design and think of ways to obtain more of the resin which could solve the problem.
