Persuasion and Advertisement Techniques

Our project is about a new shoes adidas made called “the adidas predator x.” These shoes have multiple features. They can be used for playing sports, jogging, running and people can wear them even if they are sleeping. These shoes are common in district 1 and the capital. These premium quality shows are endorsed by many celebrities and athlete. For example, the Adidas Predator X is Cristiano Ronaldo’s favorite shoe. These shoes are soft, and combined with our latest ultra water proof technology, their comfort is unmatched. No shoe in the market can top the value of The Adidas Predator X.

Our persuasion technique was logical. We gave reasonable, logical selling points for why this shoe in the best. For example, we said that there shoes are water proof and easy to clean. Having listed these selling points in our ad, this would make our product sell more and be more famous. A good rule to follow: “The capital wears this shoe, so you should too.”

We used card stacking, bandwagon appeal, and eye appeal. The colorful background, the fully cropped shoe image, the selling points listed, “brand new” tag, and “50% off” are the things that showcase our advertising techniques.

The most advance shoe in the game is the Adidas Predator X. None dares to challenge the might of the Predator X because “the capital wears this shoe, so you should too.”

Core Competency Reflection

My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks include writing down all of the ideas that come up in my or my partner’s mind on a piece of paper. I then go through all of them one by one and decide on what might the best approach be on solving a given problem.

I noticed when people feel left out, I try to ask their opinion and encourage them to share any type of idea they may have to make sure they feel included.

I am curious as to whether I will continue to work on design advertisement graphics and about what might shift my perceptions over time.

If the group is not productive, we can divide the work into smaller chunks in order to get things moving in the right direction.

I am so curious about advertisement techniques. I am excited to learn more about how I could learn more persuasive techniques to make selling and pitching products even better.
