First, create a new note
Open Notes. Tap the Compose button , then create your note. Tap Done.
The first line of the note becomes its title. To change the formatting style of the first line, go to Settings > Notes > New Notes Start With, then select an option.
You can also quickly access Notes from Control Center. Go to Settings > Control Center, and add Notes. Then open Control Center and tap Notes to create a note. Or, just
ask Siri to “Start a new note.”
In a note, tap the Markup button . Choose a color and a drawing tool, like the pencil or marker. Tap Done.
If you want to redo part of your drawing,
tap the eraser, then tap the area that you want to erase. If you accidentally erase something, tap the Undo icon . You can also customize the thickness of your lines and the opacity of colors with the drawing tools. To make your drawing area larger or smaller, drag the yellow line at the top and bottom of your drawing to resize the area.
After you draw something, you can move it around.
Tap the lasso icon
, trace a circle around the drawing that you want to move, then drag it where you want it.
You can also use the Lasso to copy and paste parts of your drawing.
To Delete a note
Swipe left over the note in the Notes list. Tap the Trash button .
You can also open the note, tap the More button
, then tap Delete.
To recover a deleted note, go to the Folders list and tap Recently Deleted. Tap the note that you want to keep, tap in the note, then tap Recover.
Using Widgetsmith app to create easy home screen widgets. Just follow these steps.
Launch the Widgetsmith app and from the Widgets tab, tap on Add Small, Medium or Large Widget option.
Once the widget has been added, tap on the widget you just created and then tap on Default Widget preview area. From the next screen, select the widget style and edit details like Font, Tint Color and Background color.
Once you are done editing, tap on the back button and hit ‘Save’. Before hitting save you can also set the timer for the widget. Now that widget has been created return to the home screen and access the Widgets screen located on left most page of the home screen. Enter Edit Home Screen mode and tap on ‘+’ button from top left corner. From the Search widgets page scroll down and tap on Widgetsmith option. Choose the size of the widget. It should be the same as the widget you created inside the Widgetsmith app and tap on the Add Widget button. Once the widget has been added to the widget screen and you are in the Edit Home screen mode, tap on the widget. From the popup menu tap on Widget and choose the exact widget that you had created in the Widgetsmith app.
Finally move the widget to your desired location on the home screen by dragging it.
Google Photos users can upload new photos, view, edit, save and create new videos, animations, collages, albums and photos books. You can also download everything, meaning your cloud backup can itself be easily backed up onto your computer or hard drive.
For IOS users, you can opt to automatically backup and sync your photos and videos as you take them. If you have an Android device, you can limit data usage, so you don’t run out of data uploading things in the background.
You can also set your Google Drive to keep a copy of your photos and videos by going to your
Drive’s settings, turning on “Create a Google Photos Folder,” and clicking save. As photos are added to your account, they will be sorted into categories. In particular, Google photos has a built-in AI assistant for future issues/questions you may have.
You can save and share all your photos and videos in Google Photos.

It’s a super simple process that makes using Google Chrome feel a little more personalized. All it takes is a few seconds and you go from having a dreary white non-background like this:

To customize your own Google Chrome page, here’s what to do:
Find any GIF you want to use. Right-click to bring up the drop-down menu. After selecting the “Save As” option, make sure to add “.PNG” after the name Under “Format,” change it from GIF to “All Files.” It should look something like the image below.
Next, open up a new Google Chrome tab page, and click on the “Customize” option in the bottom right-hand corner. The icon looks like a tiny pen or wand. You’ll be greeted with this display. Click “Upload from device,” and find the GIF that you’ve saved as a PNG.
And now, your Google Chrome page should play the GIF!
Use Slide Over to work on an app that slides in front of any open app, or even over two open apps in Split View.
How to use Slide Over:
Open an app. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the Dock. On the Dock, touch and hold the second app that you want to open, then drag it to the screen. Use two apps at the same time with Split View
With Split View, you can use two apps at the same time. For example, you can view photos while you compose an email. Or look at a location in Maps while you search for vacation ideas in Safari.
How to use Split View:
Open an app. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the Dock. On the Dock, touch and hold the second app that you want to open, then drag it off the dock to the left or right edge of the screen.
How to adjust Split View:
To give the apps equal space on the screen, drag the app divider to the center of the screen. To turn a Split View into a Slide Over, swipe down from the top of the app. To close Split View, drag the app divider over the app that you want to close. Use Split View in Safari
Put your iPad in landscape mode. Open Safari. To see two web pages at the same time, do one of the following: Open the website in Split View: Touch and hold the tab, then drag it to the right-hand side of your screen. Open a blank page in Split View: Touch and hold , then tap Open New Window. Move a tab to the other side of Split View: Drag the tab left or right in the Split View.
Microsoft To Do is an app that tracks and focus on your daily tasks, and syncs automatically with outlook. It also comes with a feature to link your tasks onto your Microsoft calendar.
Download Microsoft To Do, if you have it, then proceed to step 2. Tap settings, and manage accounts on the far left hand corner Login into your Microsoft account Under My Day, start adding new tasks! just tap on add a task! Click on the newly made task, and if you want, you could add smaller tasks under that goal.
