Electronics 10 Reflection Questions

Arduino LED Cube

What skills did you learn?

During the Arduino unit, I was a part of a group of three people and it was hard to make everybody included and so we had specific jobs for each person. I was assigned as the wirer and pit together all the parts necessary for our project. While creating the LED cube, because of my set of skills, it was quite easy. The code, however, was a different story. I had little understanding of the code and took me a while to understand what parts of the code did what. I learned to code and figure things out by myself through trial and error.

What went well?

I feel that the part where I put together the cube was the easiest as I was already used to repetition of the creation of parts as I mass produce things in work. Putting together the wires and LEDs and whatnot were the easiest part of the project for me.

What would you do different?

If I understood the code a little more well then I wouldn’t have wasted too much time trying out random things that wouldn’t work in the end. If I were to have another chance, I would study the code more and try to understand the code from the inside out. That way, the project would be a breeze.
