I only feel stress in scenarios or times. For example, I feel stress when I forget to do something or when I’m about to do a test. Those times are mostly just anxiety moments, but they do lead me to stress. Technology can help ease anxiety or stress for me because I can use it as a distraction. For example, I can play a game or two with my friends, and that can easily distract me from things that stress me. However, it’s not a very good way of coping with stress because it doesn’t solve it directly, it only pushes the thing that’s causing me stress away. If I can’t solve it by pushing it away, I would try to solve it by confronting the problem itself as it would be the better option. There is one last huge thing about technology and how it has helped cope with stress during the long year of COVID, and it’s because it can let you socialize when you can’t, be there for close family or friends when you really can’t, or helping you with your homework that you’ve been struggling on because you can’t speak to your teacher about what you’ve been endeavoring. All of those reasons make technology even greater than it was.
