The project I chose for the final edublog reflection is my final project ‘Creat Your Own Civilization’. I am proud of this project because I did a lot of critical thinking and had to bring out my knowledge about everything related to geography. Even though me and my partner, we were creating our own civilization I had to consider the size, shape, area, and environmental factors. I enjoyed this project because the satisfaction that I felt after solving problems. Like writing, I had to over come blocks of reality. For example, I wanted the island to have many mountains but because of the size of the island, this was unachievable so I came up with another idea that I will have a big mountain which had a living volcano decades ago but not anymore. This will allow the soil to be rich for farming.
Also, I am really proud of this project because of the time I spent on this project. Because of our competency we chose, I had to recreate the whole presentation and reorganize my presentation script. It was not easy but after I finished everything, I was very proud of how it turned out. I should continue to work on building upon other’s ideas. For example, this project was creating our own civilization and we could creat anything. But when my partner provided me with ideas, i was being too realistic and didn’t allow creativity come through. When I do a partner project next time, I will try my best to allow other creative ideas to shine and be more creative my-slef.
