Math Written Assignment

The strategies that I started with are as follows. When I first started playing Uno with my group, I did not pay attention to how many cards my opponents had. I focused more on chatting then playing the game. I would place uno reverse cards or skip a turn cards whenever one of my opponents was running low on cards. After many losses my strategies changed. I focused more on playing the game and less chatting. I paid attention to anyone running low on cards, and placed pickup two cards or a pickup four cards if I had them. I would specifically save these cards for when someone either said uno or was running low on cards. If they were beside me of course. Another strategy, I started using was if I had multiple cards that were the same number, I would put them down during my turn. This helped reduce excess cards from my hand. Lastly, I started changing the colour of cards whenever I could to make it more difficult for my opponents. I started playing smarter so I could win, and I did. The patterns I used, that I recommend are pay attention to the number of cards your opponents have and place your cards accordingly. If you notice your opponent running low on cards, place pick up cards, uno reverse cards, or skip a turn cards. Perhaps changing the colour of deck consistently, might help too. If you do not have those cards then remind your other opponents to place these cards.
