My Bio
Hi, my name is River! I am a grade 9 student at centennial. A couple of hobbies of mine are drawing, journaling and photography. Some words used to describe me are kind, friendly and understanding. I want you to know that I am someone who fights for equality and justice for whoever it might be. I tend to learn my best visually and kinesthetically; it helps me better understand. When I am having difficulty with something, I usually listen to music to help me through it. The type of music I typically listen to is classical, rock and indie. One strength I have is communication and teamwork. I hope this paragraph helped you to get to know me a little better. 🙂
My Favourite Website
Pinterest is my most favourite website because it has almost everything I need. I use Pinterest for outfit, art, photography and other lifestyle inspiration. Overall, it’s just very entertaining and helps me pass time.
My Favourite Video
There is a series of music playlists called “Lo-fi for Ghosts (only)” on YouTube. I don’t really have a favourite video but this is something that I watch/listen to quite often. The music in the video is very relaxing, so it helps me with my anxiety a lot.
My Favourite Image
This image is one of my most favourite images. I found the photo was found while scrolling through Pinterest (author unknown). I can’t pin point exactly what about this photo is so appealing, but it’s very comforting and eye pleasing. Although, it might be the warm tones/colours, familiar textures or maybe the little child that is influencing this comforting feeling. Overall, this is a photo that I really love and can easily call one of my favourite photo’s.
My Favourite Quote
“Just like the moon, sometimes we need to go through phases to feel whole again,” -@amyrosealexandra (on tiktok)
I interpret this quote with the meaning that for one to be at a better place, they must be patient and be able to get through “phases”. I hold so much value to this quote mainly because of the timing it was given to me and also it’s beautiful wording.
