After the each lesson was over and we were given time to work on our homework, me and my friends would try and help each other with problems we couldn’t solve. For example, there was equation where we had to ‘find the sum of the first 100 terms of the series: 50 + 44 + 38 + 32 +…’. While I was already done that question and I was working on the next, my friend read my steps and couldn’t understand how I got my answer. Moreover, she didn’t understand because she didn’t to how to find the ‘n’th (last) term, which is important to know when solving for solving the sum. Knowing what she was struggling with, I tried my best to explain how you need to find the number of terms and the first term in the arithmetic series. Through this, I was able to demonstrate clear communication skills.
