Acid-Base Titration

https://youtu.be/UahMKVZF7wY

Curricular Competency Explanation

Titration is a science experiment determining the concentration of acids and base in a solution. The acid was hydrochloric acid while the base was sodium hydroxide. The endpoint of NaOH used was 15.14 mL. We know if we reached the end point if the solution has become a light shade of pink. Our final results were successful and we got the perfect shade of pink Ms. Borges demonstrated. The result of the titration was a clear solution with a very light shade of pink.

Core Competency Reflection

Communication was very important for this titration lab. We used basic communication skills to get the supplies needed for the lab. However, we used more sophisticated communication skills when we needed to make exact measurements of the amount of base needed to use for the solution
