Innovation Station Industrial Revolution

Reflection

Board Games have been around for centuries, but the modern games we have today, were familiarized during the Industrial Revolution. I had known one of the main problems since I first saw the image of the “1860 Game of Life”. The design was boring and plain, even though that the purpose of board games was to be a fun pass-time. The obvious solution being that the board games needed more colour and creativity. I imagined the board game having better graphics and more colours. As well as the text being funner to read. I have played many of today’s modern board games and had an immediate list of the improvements board games could upgrade on. Still solving and evolving on the problems then industrial revolution board games had. I am overall very satisfied with the out come of my project. I learned a lot of the advancements of board games and how the modern games came to be. If I were to do it again, I would research more on current technological developments and to view all aspects of evolving technologically.
