My Reflection:

1. I knew the information was reliable because I got it from websites like History.com I tried to stay away from Wikipedia.

2. I chose to use PowerPoint because it is easy to use and I have used it before so I was comfortable doing my project on PowerPoint.

3. I was satisfied with my timeline. I like how I got detailed pictures on each slide so it wasn’t so boring and plane. And I got all my websites that I used on my bibliography.

4. In the future if I were to do this again I would maybe use a different platform to do it on so I can learn how to use different websites. I would also put more detail into my sentences and explain more of what happened in each event.

Digital Footprint

Reflection:

I googled myself and I was surprised at what I found. There were many Michael Pacheco’s and I didn’t think I would find anything of me, but I actually did. I found pictures of me playing baseball and some of my stats from tournaments. I am not big on social media, so I didn’t find any accounts of me. My accounts are private. I rarely post online. If I do post or comment, it’s good things like emojis or funny stuff.

If I post inappropriate pictures online, then that could prevent me from getting a scholarship or could get me fired from my job. You should be aware of what you are posting because anyone can see what you put online. Make sure your friends and family are ok with what you are posting as well. If you post something about someone else maybe, ask them first before posting.

You should keep our account private. You should be careful on what you post. And think before you comment. I am not saying you can’t ever post or have a social media account just be aware of what you are posting.

I learnt that anyone can see you online. And to younger people you shouldn’t post mean things or anything that could offend other people. You also should be careful on what you comment on other people’s posts.
