My Logo

The importance of feedback

Constructive, negative or positive are examples of feedback. Listening to peoples thoughts and suggestions is important to make a better product. My logo was made in less than 20 minutes, so I expected a lot of feedback. Unfortunately, nobody in the class gave me any feedback. This made me think I had made the BEST the most BEAUTIFUL logo ever… Obviously I did not and after showing it to a couple friends asking for their thoughts I saw my logo from so many different perspectives to make changes.

The TAG format is “Tell what you like Ask a question and Give a suggestion.” This is to ensure the product creator is not only gaining all the positive feedback but what they can do to make it better as well. My friend Elise says she “likes the color scheme, why is that my slogan, and I should put something in empty space above the keep showing up” This feedback was awesome I felt good about my logo with her positive comment and I kind of got excited to get some constructive criticism.

Interview Essay

My Paper

Writing Process

Overall I enjoyed this assignment. The process of writing an interview essay was new to me which made it interesting and fun. I found it easier than some other essays because of the interview providing so much material before writing anything. With concrete starting point I was able to focus on having a strong essay structure to later add my information. I learned lots about my parents and their journey while interviewing my mom. In addition, my essay topic sparked lots of conversation between my family. Next time I would even consider involving them in a follow up interview to get even more perspectives. Thanks!

Core Competencies

My clear and purposeful communication can be seen when I present to the class. My

Core Competency February

I can recognize my strengths and take responsibility for using strategies to focus, manage stress, and accomplish my goals. For example, I can be focused and determined when working independently on a project. For this to be successful I can set realistic goals, use strategies to accomplish them, such as a deadline for the PowerPoint project in Marketing and Promotion ensuring I work on the project 1 hr. a day for 5 days till I am done.

My goal for this Semester is to continue to stay focused and have a strong schedule. I will do this by focusing on my abilities and limits to make my time almost effective. For instance, spending 3 hrs a day on Pre Calculus 11 is unrealistic and personally I would fall apart, instead, 45 minutes of focused math daily would be if it my studies.

Kitchen Tools/Appliances

I find all of the measuring cups liquid measures very useful/helpful when preparing to bake and cook. I find measuring using measuring cups efficient and fast because you can always use them to measure any amount. there are dry measures, small dry measures, liquid measures, small liquid measures, you can measure dry and small dry measures together for example if you have 75ml of sugar you can do 50ml+25ml. Not only are the measuring cups and liquid measures my favourite…but I have used them every lab.

In conclusion, to bake successfully and cook tasty meals measuring ingredients is very important and my favourite when cooking!!!

Most Memorable Food Experience

My most memorable food experience is cooking dinner with my grandmother. Her and I love to cook especially for my dad and brothers. By far our favourite meal to cook together is Cornish hens. We would spend most of the day shopping and preparing the hens and making the biggest mess possible!!! I have tried cooking them by myself but they have never tasted the same. My grandma and I connect through cooking and I will always have amazing memories of us.

Cornish hens are very tasty and I would highly recommend them! For anyone who doesn’t know, they are basically baby chickens and can be cooked/seasoned many different ways. My grandmas recipe called for an hour in the oven at 450’F on bake!

Thanks for reading about my most memorable food experience bye bye!
