I was able to use communication during this lab by listening to Mr.Asano. Doing dissections is a very new thing and I had many questions. I was able to ask questions that helped me get the best possible result. I was also able to communicate strategies with my partner so that we were both on the same page.

I was able to use critical thinking by taking a step back from the dissection and figuring out what the issue was. Dissecting is new to me and I wasn’t sure how to approach dissecting certain parts. I was able to analyze the pig and assure the correct parts were being dissected through diagrams that were given to us.

I was able to use personal positive identity a lot during this lab. My partner and I both had certain strengths. I had a steady hand, but was not familiar with dissecting. However, my partner didn’t have a steady hand, but was very familiar with dissecting. We were able to realize our strengths, so I cut the pig as he guided me through with areas I needed to cut.
