Photography 10 Image Critique 4
This is a photo that I took of my classmate for the photo scavenger hunt assignment. I took this photo at the very beginning of my photography journey. There are some things that I really do like about this photo and some things that I would like to improve on if I were to re-take this same shot. For the time of I took this photo I liked how I was able to think creatively when coming up with an idea for an object hidden in a photo. However, with my brand-new photography skills that I’ve learned, I believe that I could make this photo look a whole lot better. The first thing that I would do is use a tripod. By using a tripod, I would be able to better straighten and center the subject in this photo. Another thing that I would do is use my new editing skills in photoshop to make this photo look better. By using photoshop I could better match and camouflage the hoodie with the wall. I could also use the complementary color green with the red wall for this photo to make the subject better pop and stand out in the photo. I overall think that for the time of me taking this photo it was an ok picture for me to use for this project. However, if I were to take this photo again with my new photography skills, I believe that this photo would’ve turned out a whole lot better.
Chain Reaction Challenge: Maximizing Kinetic Energy
A Core Competency that I used during this lab was connecting and engaging with others. I was able to show off this core competency when communicating with my partner for this project. during the idea planning process, I had to communicate and engage ideas with my partner to create a successful plan.
A lot of things when well during the designing prosses of this project. me and my partner were able to keep our end goal the same and never gave up on ideas to keep on improving the chain of events. something that didn’t work well however was making the chain of events 100% accurate. during test trails for this project the chain reaction would work but not 100% of the time. When this happens me and my partner decided to think together for solutions and ideas to fix the problems with the chain of events. This would eventually lead us to solving our problems and making our project better and more accurate
The initial end result for this project was to make the chain of events end in a ball landing in a cup. During the process of making the chain reaction me and my partner stuck with this idea, and it eventually stayed with us to the final product
If I were to re do this project again, I would add more to the chain of events. I really liked how me and my partners project came together, and I would like to see it with more components added on together

The script for the unit 5 conversation project
I was able to show this core competency’s in many ways during this project. When making the script for this project we were given a sheet of things that needed to be in the script. Because of this I had to create new ideas that fit in the scripts story and also followed the criteria. When creating the story for the unit 5 conversation script me and my partner decided to go back and forth with each other and builded on each others ideas to create the story for the script. By doing this I was able to show of using this core competency during this project

My career life reflection. After completing this course I have learned many things about careers and life as a worker. Some examples would be using the 20-30-50 rule to help better manage your income and the importance of a good work life balance. When doing my budgeting assignment I was able to set a career goal for myself. The career goal of mine that I have set for the future is to be able to save up enough money to buy my own car. The career path that I want to go into in the future is to be a movie director. After completing the career life project presentation I have been able to find lots of information on my future career pathway. This course has helped me learn the many different aspects of having a career.

Acquiring and presenting information
After completing this assignment I was able to acquire and present information very well. I used many different tools such as power point and many different websites on google to help me with acquiring and presenting information.
Recognizing personal values and choices
I was able to recognize personal values and choices while making this presentation. During the process of making this PowerPoint of my career pathway I had to take some time to reflect on why I even wanted to go into this career path in the first place. After taking the time to reflect I was able to find the reasons why and put it into my presentation.
Focusing on intent and purpose
When making this project I had to focus on intent and purpose. during the writing process of this presentation I had to put my self in the audiences shoes and think back to the purpose of this presentation and what its intended to teach the audience.
Creating and innovating
Something that I need to work more on are my creating and innovating skills. I believe that I did very well on this project however there were still a couple of flaws in my presentation. I had all my information on my slides and the power point wasn’t very eye catching. Some improvements would be to spend more time on designing the power point and creating a separate script.

a) What was something you learned that you didn’t know or consider before?
Some thing that I learned and found interesting was that a heart attack and cardiac arrest don’t mean the same thing. Cardiac arrest is when the heart stops beating and a heart attack is when blood flow to the heart is blocked.
b)What is a key takeaway from the Theory or Practical CPR unit?
My key takeaway from the Theory or Practical CPR unit was that a heart attack, cardiac arrest, or stroke could happen to anyone and that if your were in the situation of having to save someone from one of those three scenarios you would have the skills to do so
c)How does this unit connect to the nutrition unit learned previously?
This unit relates to the nutrition unit because one of the ways to lower the risk of a heart attack is to eat a proper diet and regular exercise.

Something that I learned that stimulated my thinking about CPR was that heart attacks, cardiac arrest, and strokes could happen to anyone. even if you are a healthy person you are still able to experience one of these three conditions

An example of where i communicated clearly was when i was doing my CPR test. When given the scenario I was able to actively play out the scenario by asking my partner to call 911 and to grab and AED.

If I were ever in a scenario where a person was experiencing a heart attack I would be able to have the skills to preform CPR to save that persons life
my math year grade 9
This was chapter 8 in my math booklet. This chapter mainly used critical thinking for solving the questions. I was able to figure out some of the questions by using my social and communication skills to ask my peers for help. I was also able to use my outside the box thinking skills on this chapter.

My grade 9 year was an amazing experience. The high school experience was much different than my middle school experience in a better way. Since we didn’t stay with the same teacher and class the whole day I was able to make a lot more new friends from other middle schools. before first coming to the school I was told that the high school teachers were much more strict and meaner than the middle school teachers and now as my grade 9 year is coming to an end I can confidently say that those were the biggest lies ever told to me about high school. My favorite class this grade 9 year for is probably socials because the class is very engaging and it was interesting learning about the history of this country. My grade 9 year has been an amazing year and I cant wait for my grade 10 year.

If you want to know how to do something you can find a video teaching you how to do the thing. people find it easier to have someone teach you something instead of reading instructions and that’s why i think the Youtube is an great educational website.

This was a picture that I took during the flame test lab that I did in my science class. It was a very interesting lab seeing how the chemicals on the que-tip affected the color of the fire. This was the first lab that I did in my grade 9 year and it was also my favorite lab that I’ve done.

i was able to use perplexity.ai as a tool for finding arguments for this project as well as the support for those argument.
B) How did you ensure that the work you created was still your own, rather than just a product of AI
i made sure to write absolutely all of the info that perplexity gave in my own words as well as making sure that i sited all of my info that didn’t come up into my head while making this project
C) Did you agree with the position you had to argue? Why or why not?
I do agree very much of the position that I had during the making of this project. I believe that there is a moral code that humans should have that prevents violence unless its necessary.

I use evidence to make judgements or decisions as demonstrated in this project. I was able to make great arguments as well as having great supports for each one of my arguments. i was also able to cite all of my arguments that didn’t come from my head as well as the supports for those arguments
One of the ways I ensure my group is clear on the common purpose is to check up on my partner during work time to make sure we are both on task and getting work done. I also offer to help my partner whenever he needs help.
