My First Year

My Grade 9 Year

My grade 9 year was an amazing experience. The high school experience was much different than my middle school experience in a better way. Since we didn’t stay with the same teacher and class the whole day I was able to make a lot more new friends from other middle schools. before first coming to the school I was told that the high school teachers were much more strict and meaner than the middle school teachers and now as my grade 9 year is coming to an end I can confidently say that those were the biggest lies ever told to me about high school. My favorite class this grade 9 year for is probably socials because the class is very engaging and it was interesting learning about the history of this country. My grade 9 year has been an amazing year and I cant wait for my grade 10 year.

My useful educational website is Youtube.com. Youtube is a place where you can find any information you need. If you want to know how to do something you can find a video teaching you how to do the thing. people find it easier to have someone teach you something instead of reading instructions and that’s why i think the Youtube is an great educational website.

the is a very educational video made by the youtuber Oversimplified. this youtuber was the creator of this video and many other like this. The reason why I like this Youtube channel is because it over simplifies historical events making it easier to study for tests and quiz’s.

My Educational Image

This was a picture that I took during the flame test lab that I did in my science class. It was a very interesting lab seeing how the chemicals on the que-tip affected the color of the fire. This was the first lab that I did in my grade 9 year and it was also my favorite lab that I’ve done.

“If it make you nervous your doing it right” this was a quote spoken from the mouth of Donald glover. what this quote means is that you should be comfortable doing things your uncomfortable with because you never know what something is like unless you try it.

Reflection Questions- Is violence justified during a revolution/ protests

A) How did the use of AI assist you in developing this project

i was able to use perplexity.ai as a tool for finding arguments for this project as well as the support for those argument.

B) How did you ensure that the work you created was still your own, rather than just a product of AI

i made sure to write absolutely all of the info that perplexity gave in my own words as well as making sure that i sited all of my info that didn’t come up into my head while making this project

C) Did you agree with the position you had to argue? Why or why not?

I do agree very much of the position that I had during the making of this project. I believe that there is a moral code that humans should have that prevents violence unless its necessary.

I use evidence to make judgements or decisions as demonstrated in this project. I was able to make great arguments as well as having great supports for each one of my arguments. i was also able to cite all of my arguments that didn’t come from my head as well as the supports for those arguments

One of the ways I ensure my group is clear on the common purpose is to check up on my partner during work time to make sure we are both on task and getting work done. I also offer to help my partner whenever he needs help.

Why is it important to remember who benefits from the advertisement when you view an advertisement?

It is important to remember who benefits from an advertisement because if the people that benefit from the advertisement are bad people then you buying there product would be like you supporting them.

Choose one form of persuasion and explain why it is effective in persuading you/an audience: logical, ethical, emotional

A effective way of persuasion would be logical because when using that way of persuasion all of the reasons to buy the product are all logical reasons with proof behind why they are logical reasons.

Choose an advertising technique and explain why it is effective in selling a product.

An effective advertisement technique would be the bandwagon technique because people are more inclined to buy a product if everyone is using it and if its popular.

One way I respectfully advocated for my needs on this project when I communicated my ideas for the project with my group members. Another way I advocated my ideas is when I addressed some concerns I had with the project and suggested ideas to resolve those concerns.
