I used the celebrity endorsement technique because it’s something that I would be caught by if I were online. I used the technique by choosing a celebrity I know has a custom or at least owns the product, using a quotation, and using some endorsing text to compel people to buy it.

b. I thought that the newspaper looked cool and thought it would look nice to do like an article type things for the color I chose black because it was neutral and wouldn’t clash with anything else I put in, and the background was a template in canvas that I used because it looks nice

c. there are many clever marketing plans and you should always look between the lines.

CORE COMPETENCY:

Project appeal: I think that the newspaper article is appealing to the eye. I also made an effort to use lots of colorful variations of the product that I chose, so overall, I think I would be proficient.

Technology competency:

I did need a little bit of support but only for very minor things. Like “Do I just download it’’ and little things like How do I insert something? So overall I think I am proficient

Hunger Games Mutation Project

I ask and respond to questions to be an active, supportive listener.

I answer the questions for the hunger games when we discuss them and also have a conversation with the different discussion questions. I listen to what people say and sometimes I add on to them.

I take roles and responsibilities in a group; I do my share.

For the mutation project, my partner drew the picture and I coloured them. I used my partner’s iPad and made a unique wing with different colours on the beagle.

I deliberately learn about things that interest me, and new ideas pop into my head.

I thought of the idea of the lizards growth of the limbs for mutation animal. That idea popped into my head when we were making the animal. I also made the design of the wing and my friend drew them for our project.

I give, receive and act on feedback to progress in my goals.

When I got feedback from my partner I tried to apply It as best I could even with my limited drawing skill but my partner was very patient with me and kind which helped me reach the end of my part of the project

Health & Well-being Reflection

A) Some of the main causes of stress in my life include school (especially when I have tests) and sometimes just being in an environment where there might be loud noise or yelling, even just the tiny sounds that bother me. Another big one is socializing all day at school I get exhausted. The best way that I find helps me is I just take time when I get home, and I get into my pajamas, and I get into bed with my laptop and I just like to turn off my brain and I don’t text anyone or call anyone and I just hermit :)). But when I have stress from a test I have to study for, I just take a few minutes to get myself in the right headspace to start working OR I take a bath to relax before I get my brain going again.

B) Sometimes, just turning my brain off after a fight or if I’m just sad can distract me from that and help it go away. But sometimes, I do get caught up in maybe just scrolling or watching multiple YouTube videos. I would like to try to limit my time more. I started by giving myself only an hour of Instagram time, but a lot of the time, I just put in the password I created and keep going, kind of like when I snooze my alarm. A healthy habit I would like to adopt is turning off my Instagram when my screen time runs out and when I’m bored finding something to do OTHER than watch YouTube videos mindlessly.

digital footprint

A way to keep a low or good digital footprint is to always be respectful when you are posting or even just commenting on any social media platform like tik tok or instagram and even facebook because even if your comment seems funny to you it could really be hurtful to the creator. Another good way to do this is to maybe not even comment at all or if you do post or comment always be kind because its more likely to build into a habit of being considerate when posting or sharing your opinion.

There are lots of harmful aspects to technology and social media , Ai being one of the biggest Ai has come to the point where you can take a snippet of someones voice and make them say anything you want. Another example is the amount of hate / unkind words that can be put into the comment section of someones video or their photos, which is why its important to always be respectful. Lots of cyber attacks can come form technology with the right experience.

Youth can do 3 things to make places like instagram you tube and tik tok alot safer and more positive by being positive themselves and not adding people that they don’t know because that’s where alot of bad things that can happen start. Another way would be just being positive themselves and encouraging people to be the same, and reporting mean comments. They can also have set boundaries and ground rules on their posts.
