My Grade 9 Year
This year, I took Drafting, Design, and Animation 9, along with Information Communication and Technlogy 9, which introduced me to many new digital tools. I learned 2D and 3D design through many different softwares, such as Blender, which was really fun to learn. I also learned about photoshop and animation using Adobe, and I learned that you can also animate on Blender, something I had not know before.
I joined many clubs, like STEAM, Technology Leadership, and Robotics. In these clubs, I learned about many new topics in science, and participated in fun projects and games that applied my knowledge in STEAM. In the Robotics club, I went to a VEX Robotics competition as one of the drivers, and even though we weren’t able to advance on to the next level, we were able to view other teams’ robots, which is the reason our current robot is significantly better that it was previously.
A Useful Educational Website

This is the website for The Centre of Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) of the University of Wwaterloo. It is a very useful education website because they constantly provide many math problems that help develope critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which are crucial for learning. Often, I use the CEMC website to practice on past Waterloo contests, such as the Cayley, CIMC, etc.
A Useful Educational Video
This video explains the basics of Physics in an easily understandable way. In only 14 minutes, I was able to learn many foundational skills and knowledge that would prepare me for science, from grade 9 and onward. The incorportation of visuals along with verbal and written explanations are extremely effective in teaching the topics.
A Useful Educational Image
I found this version of the Periodic Table, which was very clear, and had a color-code, which represented the type of element. While I haven’t begun to learn about chemistry in Science 9 quite yet, I have taken an interest in learning the Periodic Table by myself. I am preparing ahead of time so that I may be able to succeed and excel in Science. In the future, if I want to become an engineer, such as an Electrical Engineer, fullying knowing and understanding the chemical elements is extremely important.

Pythagoras is the man who invented the Pythagoras Theorum (a^2 + b^2 = c^2).
This quote is significant because it expresses the idea that by properly educating children now, in the future, when they grow up, it won’t be necessary to punish them for their actions as they will know better than to commit those actions. This quote emphasizes the importance of proper education, which requires the effort of both the teacher and student.
