a. I didn’t know that while perfoming chest compressions you should have the right hand placement. b. A key take away that I found out about is that knowing CPR can really save a life and help prolong someones life until emergency services arrive. c. Having a nutritional diet and getting the nutrients your body needs can help prevent heart attacks and the risk of having a strokes by alot.

When I need to work collaboratively with people I don’t know well, I always am open minded to their ideas and opinions listening to what they have to say.
My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks include using Perplexity AI for new recent sources. I always verify the information I use making sure it is from a trusted source and not from something like Wikepedia.
In my powerpoint about Lincoln M. Alexander, I displayed significance by including all of Licoln M’s greatest achievements, and explaing how we can learn from his life. Lincoln M taught us that with hard work and effort you can achieve great things and also taught us that you should stand up for what you beileve even when people disagree. Lincoln spoke against racism and encourages us to stand up for whats right.

I can take on roles and responsibilities in a group; I do my share. In my group project, me and my partner had to work together and cooperate with each other to finish our project. Me and my partner decided to split up the work and do 50/50. While working I made sure to do my part effectively and correctly making sure I all of my sources were trusted and accurate. I ensured that I finished my part of our project on time and did my contribution.
Technology overall hasn’t affected my stress levels through out grade nine. Although, when I do feel stressed I ussually take a break and play video games and just relax. Most of my stress can come from school or tests and assigments. Overall technlogoy doesent effect my stress and when I do feel stressed I can always lower my stress levels with many things

I find it easy to be part of a group. When I need to do some group work with people I can always find a way to realte to them and become friends. Once I had to work with random partners for a science project and we were able to work effiecently and get our work done.
I am kind to others, and support others when they need it. When I see my friends or classmates feeling down or need support im always there to assist them. When I meet someone new Im always kind and even when we dont have the same opiniouns I always respect them.
I can explain when something is unfair and advocate for others. When I see something injustice or not fair I always try to solve the issue and try to figure out whats happening. I always try to make sure im not being rude to others and making sure what ever I do has a postive effect.
My grade 9 year has been going great. During the first semester of highschool I got to meet a ton of new people and got to learn new things about myself. In science I got the chance to learn about physics and chemistry, some of my favorite subjects. This semester I started to take math 10 and learned that I need to put in extra effort and time into it, and Im looking forward to finishing my course. This year I learned that I take in more information when I practice and do worksheets in my classes and that watching or listening to one explanation isn’t enough. When im struggiling with anything I usually leave and come back with an open and refresh mindset and try to look at the obstacle from a different direction. Overall, my grade 9 year has been going well and im looking forward towards next year.

In this assignment, I was told to make a poem and include a list of poetic devices given to us. This assignment highlighted the strengths and weaknesses I have. One of my strengths is being able to include the sound devices into my poem making it flow with the rest of the verses. I was able to help the audience visualize the poem and express my thoughts to them. On the other hand, in my assigment I struggled with a few things such as creativity and memorizing my poem. Some things I will change in the future will be using more descriptive vocabulary and practice reading out my poem changing the pitch of my voice, my speed and more.

When ever im given an assigment I ussually understand and complete my assignment easily and fast. Although, sometimes I rush my work and it dosen’t turn out the best. Somethings I miss on my assigments is double checking my work and making sure I followed the rubric. Many times when im given assigments I sometimes accidently skip over the rubric and start on the work. In the future I can start getting in the habit of always checking my work and making sure I fully understand what needs to be done to get a grade im satisfied with.
While doing my project mostly everything went well the work was finished and accurate
In me and my groupmates project I think we could have communicated better and been more efficient in our work.
I think next time I will try to focus more towards communication and try to find more information.
I demenstrated the core competencies by being creative for the design and theme for the project. In addition to this, I also communicated with my partner in our project while not getting disctracted by anything.

I demonstrated what core competencies I did during my assignment. While I was doing my assignment, I made sure to ask questions and help out other students when they needed it. In addition, I tried to make sure that my work was creative and looked nice and smooth. furthermore, I made sure to make use of the tutorials given to us and use them effectively. Overall, I think I used my time well and did a decent job on my assignment.
In today’s world, the internet is used everywhere, and every time you go online, you leave behind a digital footprint. A digital footprint is the image you create of yourself online. Your digital footprint can be traced through all the posts you make, the comments you leave, and much more. Some strategies to help you maintain a positive digital footprint include searching for yourself online. This can show you what others can easily find about you and may reveal misleading or private information. Another strategy is to avoid clicking on random surveys or quizzes. Often, these are just ways for companies to gather your information and collect data about you. Additionally, be sure to read the terms and conditions of the apps and websites you visit. Understanding these documents will inform you about what information they are allowed to collect, as they act like a legal contract between you and the app. Lastly, always be cautios on social media. Be careful about what you comment on and post, as this can reveal a lot of private information. Remember, once you post something on social media, it can never be fully deleted. For example, if you share a picture of you and your family at a restaurant, it can always be reshared by friends, relatives, or anyone else without your consent. By following these strategies, you can help reduce your digital footprint and stay safe online.

Personal/Social Competency Reflection
I know that my digital footprint can both have a postitive and negative consequences, including hurting other people, helping other people, affect my sleep and indangering myself. So I adjust to my actions by shutting of all devices 2 hours before sleep, setting up a screen time, and double checking what I post or say to others online.
By doing my part online, I try to make a positive difference to my peers by helping when needed, opening up conversations, or just being there to listen. By doing all these things online I can help create a posititve difference to my peers.
My strengts as a digital citezen are being inclusive, staying postive, making sure what I post does not hurt anyone, and always being polite. They contribute to my community by letting everyone know that people wont judge them, telling people to be themselves, and lowering down the cyberbullying that happens.
