My Advertisment

1. Which advertising technique did you choose and how did you use that technique to create your poster?

In my advertisment I tried to use the Plain Folks technique by trying to show that the food is simple, yummy, and affordable.

2. Explain how and why you chose the colours, words, background, etc. that you used to make your advertisement.

My ad shows a bunch of red and yellow because these colors because they make you feel hungry and can give you an appitite. Also saying “Food That Makes You Happy” tells you that you shouldn’t worry about calories and should just enjoy yourself.

3. What do you think others who aren’t in your class should know about advertising?

I think that people should know when you make an advertisment you should always know your target audience and to know what draws their attention.

Core Competancy Reflection

An example of where I built upon someone else’s ideas is when I used inspiration from other companys and payed attention to what caught my attention. I took their core ideas and added on to them to make my add.

I used to think making an ad was simple and could be done in five minutes now I know is more complicated because when you make an advertisment you want to have the most eyecatching ad and you want to convince them into buying your product.
