My progress in this course was how I was able to grow more into Polynomials. I learned a little about polynomials in middle school and I was able to understand more in combining like terms. specifically adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing the like terms.
My personal goals this year are coming into flex and asking questions for the ones I was confused with. I have met my goals and led to success in this course. I have used my time wisely and finished/handing in my assignment and homework on time.
My experience on this course felt like it went by fast. but I have enjoyed my experience in math.
I can build on others’ ideas and add new ideas of my own or combine others’ ideas in new ways to create new things or solve straightforward problems.
I have developed in this competency by combining ideas in the work I have made. In this project I have made a duck with a bow. Originally It was just a duck, it was plain and boring. So, I have decided to add an accessory and I have chosen a bow. Scrolling through ideas of others on internet gave me inspiration to something better than before. I can build on other ideas and make it my own. Combining innovative ideas helps in change a plain boring thing into something new.
This year I enjoyed coming to school in an unfamiliar environment as a grade 9. I have met new people and become friends with people in different classes. It was weird to transition to high school with only four subjects every day in the same class for the semester, but the schedule is much easier to remember. Having flex time and cent time helped a lot in using my time to complete the assignments. I also enjoyed playing on the volleyball team, the new experience was fun and there are many places for improvement and made me excited that I could become better. This year I realized I learn best by working in an environment where it is quiet with no distraction, so I could get work done and rest more at home. Words that describe my year were stressful but also fun and enjoyable at the same time. It feels like time has gone by so fast, I cannot believe that this is the end of grade 9. It has wanted to come to high was not that long ago.

This is a pizza I made using a cast iron pan. I have tomato sauce with mozzarella cheese, mushroom, and red bell pepper.
This is the cast iron skillet pizza I made in the course. I am proud of how the pizza turned out because I had to do it alone, which was overwhelming, but it was good. I learned to prepare everything before putting it in the pan. example cutting the vegetable before putting the dough on the pan. I had to watch the dough, so it would not burn while cutting the vegetables. In the end it turned out well, but there is still room for improvement. I have demonstrated critical and reflective thinking skills by making judgements in the lab. Deciding if the pizza dough was ready or not to add the toppings. I can reflect on my thinking on what I can do better next time.

It had helped assist me in developing this project, it gave me information to research on and also provided a website to get more information from, which helped a lot.
B) how did you ensure that the work you created was still your own, rather than just a product of the AI
To ensure the work was still mine, I had gather many evidence and put them together into my word to explain.
C) Did you agree with the position you had argue? Why or why not?
In the arguement I was on the pro side. Why violence should be justified but I disagree since violence should not be used even if necessary. It may cause injuries to others that are not involved. There are probably many ways you could get attention or to get the problem solved quicker.

I use evidence to make judgements or decisions as demonstrated in this project, when searching something online or using perplexity I had to make a decisions in making the information they give us into my own word. An evidvience I have to make judgement are in my project. I had as gather many important information in my project.
Examples of where I communicate clearly and purposefully can be seen in my script. We communicated and helped each other out, discuss about how we should read the script. Telling each other in how we should start the sentence when we were recording it.
A topic I improved on is subtracting, addition, multiplying and dividing factions. The last time I did it was in middle school. Reviewing helped me remember the method in solving then problems. The method for adding/subtracting is to change the bottom denominator to the LCM and then subtract or add. The method for dividing is to flip one of the fractions and multiply the fractions. The method for multiplying is to cross simplify and then multiply.
What surprised me on the test was the word problems were a bit harder than I expected, but it was okay.
I demonstrated my critical and reflective thinking during this project, when I had to figure something I can do to fix my hole. I made a hole with the serger and It is cover by the white stripe line in the middle. I am proud of the end result and I think it looks better after fixing my mistake.
I demonstrated creative thinking in the project by adding and changing the pant from the school pattern. I used the school pattern for shorts and changed the measurements. I created my own pockets just for my very first pants. Some skills I have developed to make my creative activities better are the use in the sewing machine there is more to improve but, step by step I have developed the skill in using the sewing machine.
How I figured out how the avatar was going to look like. There was no description of the character, both protagonist and antagonist. It only told the age of the character. I made the character’s avatar to look like how I think the character will look. I had a challenging time in making the avatar for the character.
How I choose the plot point of the story. I choose the plot point by understanding the word. Knowing that this part of the book was a good plot point and that will make people hook on with the book.
How I figured out the setting in the story. Why is the setting significant to the story? I figured out what the setting is by picking the place they were mostly at in the story. In the story I figured out that the time in the story is in present America because they said in the story that this character named C.J. was riding a BMW car.
What does the word mood mean and how/why I picked the song? I word mood means about a feeling or how people feel. I chose the song because the book was about mystery and thriller. The song sounded like perfect background music for the book I was going to talk about.

An example of where I built upon someone else’s ideas is when I took advice from my friend. I looked at people’s presentations to see some things I can add and change. Mixing people’s ideas and change it to how I would like it to be or by following the criteria as much as I can.
When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I relax a little bit too clear of my mind that is distracting me and sometimes I listen to music to boost my mood. But that is when I have my earbuds/Air pods with me. Listening to music is good for both, boosting up my mood and refocusing because we all love to listen to music.
