This slide represents a lot of the expectations from what I see. The background includes a sketch of the kraken taking down a boat, although since it’s a myth, a lot of things could be inaccurate. I chose a font that goes along with this “mysterious” theme and background image. The color, font, and size all match perfectly together. Making this title page interesting.

Core Competency Self-Assessment

There wasn’t that much challenges that I faced. Although, one main challenge is the reliability of the sources. The Kraken is a mythological creature, besides possible real sightings, it’s probably all rumors being spread around. In order to overcome that, I went on multiple different sites, and picked out the ones that were mentioned the most and the ones that I believe is true with my own knowledge on mythological creatures. The features and information I picked out all seem to fit and make sense.
