Ethical Judgement on Residential Schools

I statement: I can make an ethical judgment about the treatment of the children in Indian Residential Schools

No, what happened was no way right or fair. The kids were taken away from their families and put into residential schools where they would get stripped of their culture. They would get their hair cut, names changed making them forget their identities, and forced to do chores that might be dangerous. Kids would get beaten, hit, abused, and left in horrible conditions. Some of them would be left to die and buried in unmarked graves. Because of all the stuff that happened, I believe that this was not fair.

Personal/Social Reflection

Reflection

My most important goals for this year are to get proficiency as majority on my marks and to make it to team Canada this year. I must be sure to commit to these goals if I want to accomplish them. Even if I want to play games and hang out with my friends, I need to prioritize what’s important. If I want to earn the majority of my grades proficiency I must set aside time for work, do all of my assignments, and try my best on each one. I must attend every training for gymnastics and give it my all. Competing successfully and not letting my anxiety get to me. Having a good mindset and being confident in myself.
