The part of chapter one that I am most comfortable with includes solving radicals. I feel that it is a strong suit of mine due to how much the concept builds off of grade 10 math. The most difficult part of chapter one includes rationalizing radicals due to how much that is going on throughout the process. I usually learn new material the best when I am hands on working on problems with help from my peers. This includes group work as well as me doing practice questions at home on a big whiteboard that allows me to see all of my steps clearly. I plan to prepare for this test by studying at home and doing extra practice questions from the workbook. I have already completed all of the assigned questions in the workbook as well as the worksheet pages. The quote “I persevere with challenging tasks and take ownership of my goals, learning, and behavior means to me that what you want will only occur with work put in. Meaning, that I need to put effort, time, and lots of studying in to achieve the goals I have. I cannot expect anything without me working for it because nothing is just handed to you.
