The best part of my project was my examples. After explaining the concept I was able to give clear and realistic examples of how fear manipulates and how to prevent it from manipulating yourself. Next time I will work on slowing down my presentation. I have to remember that the audience has never learned about this topic, so it will take a longer time for them to understand.
Core Competency Self-Assessment
I chose the topic of how fear manipulates a person because I wanted to understand what actually happens in the brain. I researched the process of being under fear and that lead to learning how a person manipulates themselves because of their fears. This topic caught my eye because it is something that everyone does.
I used credible sources to find my information, and referred to medical articles. Furthermore, I was able to use the images in those articles to create visuals. I researched the topic and sifted through articles that popped up. I especially use the article page psychology today, which helped explain medical terms of fear in a easier way.
