Core Competency reflection
My values around opening my own baking business inform my decisions about how I use my devices. Instead of spending most of my time online on social media and other entertainment sources, I choose to spend my time online researching how to start a baking business and searching for different recipes and baking techniques.
I think my experiences as a digital citizen, such as research about baking, opening a business, and baking blogs influenced my choice of school courses and hobbies because I found it really interesting. Since I found it very interesting I decided to pick the foods 10 course for the 2nd semester, and I also love baking and want to open my own baking business.
Some of my preferred strategies for maintaining a healthy, balanced online presence include not spending too much time on social media and being nice to my peers. I also make my best effort to be kind to people in any kind of comments online and be polite to the creator of whatever I’m commenting on.
