Communication & Collaboration

I have demonstrated my communication & collaboration skills in this class. I can understand and share information about a topic of interest in a clear, organized way. I can inquire into and present on topics of interest and topics related to my studies. My strategies for collecting relevant information like accurate observations and data for specific tasks like labs include using correct vocabulary and numbers. Evidence that I can acquire information about complex and specialized topics from various sources, synthesize it, and present it with thoughtful analysis can be found in my lab conclusion. I can work with others to achieve a goal. I can take on roles and responsibilities in a group; I do my share. During labs like the diffusion and pig dissection lab, my partner and I collaborated, to be productive and efficiently dissect and find parts.

Critical Thinking

I have demonstrated my critical thinking skills in all of the coursework in this class. I have shown that I can analyze evidence to make judgements, reflect on my thinking, and give, receive and act on feedback to progress in my goals. Topics or concepts for which I can offer detailed feedback or analysis include the internal parts of the fetal pig. During this lab I was able to cut precisely to locate the specific parts of the pig’s internals. I used evidence to make judgements and decisions for where to cut. By thinking critically, I was able to find all the parts with my partner. I compile and synthesize information to draw reasoned conclusions, such as when I do assessments.
