In discussions and conversations, I extend my understanding by contributing ideas when working in group projects. I can cover the areas that I am confident in and help with note taking. I provide help to my peers by explaining what I understand and ask them questions in the areas I’m unsure in.
I use my time wisely and focus into academics. I try to focus on the assignment for long periods of time, even when my mind wanders a lot, in which I try to regain that focus. I keep myself focused and calm by developing new skills that I will use throughout the whole school year in order to maintain that focus.
I make sure to contribute to group activities fairly. I make sure that I don’t provide too many ideas, which sometimes leads to me doing the assigned group work mostly on my own. I make sure I don’t do that.
