For the semester I focused heavily on studying so I don’t fall behind and build up too many assignments. I rely heavily on writing the material I need to know until it’s engraved in my head. This usually leads to short memory studying and the units don’t stick with me into the next unit. This is something I can work on.
An example of something I have spent a lot of time learning about is…
are the verb and adjective conjugations, such as て forms. This was the main focus of the semester, and my main focus to study.
Some skills I have developed to make my creative activities better are…
to try and step out of my comfort zone, and work with subjects I may not be as comfortable with. In return, this allows me to bring out creative ideas from the experience gained from branching out to these diverse topics and implement them into my work.
Some short/ long term goals for myself include having a better study schedule and my plan to achieve them is…
to implement a healthy study strategy. One strategy I can try is to work on assignments for 30 minutes, then take a 10 minute break, and repeat. Studying with friends also help.
If I could travel back in time, I would tell myself…
to pay attention to what’s being written on the board and copy them down on my notes. I would also tell myself to study up on particles and sentence structures and have that as my main focus for the semester.
