My Stressors
One main stressor in my life is School (tests, quizzes, and homework). When I get stressed, I manage it through physical activities such as going for bike rides, doing parkour, and playing basketball. If the weather is not good, I like to build with Lego or do puzzles. One thing that stresses me is doing reflections on Edublog. I deal with stress by talking to friends and doing physical activities such as parkour.
Core Competency Reflection
I can form new ideas to create new things. I can also build on the ideas of others. In woodworking I demonstred this when I designed a sign and made out of wood.
I work with others to achieve a goal. I demonstrated this, when I had to work with others to write and practice a song for the Small Ensable Ccncert
I take on roles and responsibilities in a group; I do my share. I demostrated this when I did my share on a ADL project and helped my group members finish on time.
My goal is to work towards considering different alternatives in completing a task. “I consider more than one way to proceed in an investigation.” I am working on this goal because somtimes I think there is only one way to get things done, when there is often lots of different ways. Some things that I will do to achieve this goal are: talk to others about how they might complete the task and consciously think of alternatives when working on a big project.
