English First Peoples 11 Reflection

My Artifact:

I managed to focus and finish most of the works during class. I asked few questions to my peers and teacher when I faced challenges throughout the assignment.

Curricular Competencies Reflection

I improved a lot on my reading, listening and view skills during class by doing a lot of assignments that were related to listening and comprehending to the Indigenous peoples’ speeches. We practiced a lot on listening to their stories and understanding them. We also watched movies or read articles about their heritage or cultures that explains about their stories.

Core Competencies Reflection

I performed my thinking skills by researching about my topic and sharing it to my peers to make bring up with solid ideas. I would research and spend more time reviewing on my own work to develop my work for next time.

  • I learned reading, listening and viewing skills just by reading and comprehending the books I read.I will take what i learned and use it towards working on reconciliation by understanding the meaning of the true story.

Core Competencies Reflection

I learned to be creative during the tasks that we did from the past 3 months. We mostly watched/read movies or articles and tried to come up with ideas of the meaning behind the movies, books, songs, dances, or songs.

Math Core Competency Self Assessment

An example of something I have spent a lot of time learning about is Polynomial.

When I’m sad, angry or
frustrated, doing Math helps me be more productive or calm.

When I need to boost my mood or re focus, I play basketball and chill.
