Problem

The problem is that this family needs help to make meals to make dinner. So, as a group, we made a meal plan to help them with meals and times to have dinner, together as a family.

Justifaction

The reason each part of the meal plan works. This is due to the fact that every day the family each gets equal servings. There is always someone cooking that food is made. The most important part is each time on the table fits with the family schedule. That they can all have dinner together.

Collaboration reflection

The ways my group communicated. Was by always communicated while working on the project, to better understand what we need to work on. The way we used technology was by getting our recipes and designing our table. Which made it very helpful and easier to finish the project, overall using technology was great and never ruined how we were working. Ways are tasks were distributed was by days. Each group member has a day to make the meal and times. With one person working on an extra day. The day I worked on the meal plan was Wednesday when I made the time and what the family was eating on Wednesday.

Self assement: Collaboration

I show others that I truly value their contributions by always listening to other ideas. Overall what everyone has to say. That no one will feel discluded in the group. Another thing, I was proud of was when my group is working well. That we are finishing are days we are working on and finishing the project.

Self assement: Thinking

I can contribute to work with criteria to improve my own work; evidence of that is at the start of working on the project. The table my group made did not have too much detail, along with info on the food. When we saw what’s on the criteria we learned to add more detail. To make our table more unique and different. I also remain open-minded as I explored viable options or alternative approaches, like when my group member gave me an idea for how to do my day. So, I listened and I learned to explore a different point of view on how to do the work.

Risks and Contract Law

What did you learn about risks and contracts today? 

A risk is something that can harm you. For example, getting in a car. You have a risk of getting in a crash. What a contract is something that can protect a person from if they do get into a car crash. A person can sigh a contract with a car insurance company, to have money to pay the damage on a car.

What core competencies did you demonstrate today?

I demonstrated thinking. This is because in my group, we had to think about what we wanted in the contract that was made. For another competencies it would be communication. After my group made the contract, we had to present are contract to another group. We had to communicate, what we think should be in the contract that was made.

This is a picture of an eye I chose that I believe represents Personal/Social. The reason I picked an eye is that I feel you want to be personally aware of things in the class. You need to have an open eye for what is around you. In the class, I was able to demonstrate a lot as I was aware of others, for when they’re giving feedback to me or just talking to me in general. I would keep an open eye on them listen to my peer.

Identity Poem

A brown-haired boy full of joy. 

Joy that used to be better himself to be the best. 

Trys to slow but live life as fast as a cheetah, never having time to relax. 

My mind is always spinning in a tornado. 

Swoosh as the tornado runs in circles faster when it gets more dreams. 

Dreams so big they cannot achieve themselves.

The assignment that best represents Personal/Social is because it’s about me. My own personal self, which fits with the competency. That is what Personal/Social competence is about. All about a person and what makes them who they are. This poem I made show that but for me.

Persuasion and Advertisement Techniques

My Item I am selling is called the Blinger. It used to make your boring shoes, to looking fresh and new. All you got to do is buy it for 40$. Steps to use it is to get an old pair of shoes. Insert them, customize them with color and shapes. Bling, a brand new fresh shoe”Endless fun”. For Persuasion techniques, I used during the presentation were stats, as I gave cost and savings. Symbols as I made a logo and slogan “Endless fun”. Another technique is straightforward. The poster I made I straight forward. Is full of info about the product. For the last one is eye appeal. My poster is full of color to attract anyone from anywhere.​ For Ad techniques I used repetition. During the presentation, I repeated a lot, about why the Blinger is the best and why you should buy it.

Core Competency Reflection

The competency I did the best at was thinking, as I displayed a very thoughtful idea. That made my item and persuasion style different. Making my project more engaging for my viewers. For my last competency, I did best was Communication. I gave a clear project with very detailed info all around the project. During the presentation, I had a clear voice that everyone was able to understand, my item and why you should buy it. Things I can improve on are Social. During the project, I worked alone, if I had a partner I could have made an even better project.

My name is Antonio and I am 14 years. I’m a very active person, I play lots of sports such as soccer, football, and basketball. My favorite sports teams from each of those sports are the cardinals for football. An Italian soccer team called Juventus. For basketball, I watch the Toronto Raptors. Since I watch and play those sports, I don’t have that much free time. When I do have free time I like to draw things outside in nature. So, sometimes I will go outside and draw something to feel more relaxed. From doing that I am able to take a break from anything I’m doing, just focus on my drawing.

This video highlights a soccer player named Alphonso davies. I picked this as my video, I have a goal to try to improve in soccer. So, I will try to learn how to pass better, shoot, and defend just like him. To improve in the sport and achieve my goal.

Leo loves to play with his toys he is full of energy when he plays. When someone does not play with Leo he will sleep, for a long long time. Leo also enjoys going on walks in the forest and seeing other dogs, he is a very social dog.
