Curricular Reflection ✎﹏﹏﹏﹏

I’m interested in medical research and have a strong desire to make others feel comfortable about their skin, which is why I want to become a dermatologist. This journey requires me to grow personally since I need to have empathy, effective communication skills, and an extensive knowledge of dermatological problems and treatments. My primary goal is to apply to medical school after earning my undergraduate degree in an appropriate field and getting experience through volunteer work or internships in healthcare facilities. I’m committed to continuous learning to stay updated with the latest advancements in dermatology. Becoming a dermatologist will fulfill my career aspirations and allow me to positively impact people’s lives by improving their skin health and overall well-being.

I can demonstrate effective communication skills by presenting my project clearly and engagingly. This ensures that my audience is able to keep up with my explanations and comprehend the main ideas. By practicing my presentation, I’ve learned how to adjust my tone, pace, and body language to make my points more compelling. I can display my ability to think critically by analyzing the information I gathered and making informed decisions based on evidence. Throughout the project, I evaluated information, assessed multiple sources, and came to reasonable conclusions. This process has enhanced my problem-solving skills and my ability to approach challenges thoughtfully. I can reflect on my personal growth throughout the project, identifying areas where I’ve improved and how I can continue to develop my skills. This project has given me the opportunity to assess my strengths and weaknesses, and to set realistic goals for my future learning. Reflecting back on my experiences has increased my self-awareness and inspired me to continue growing. I can collaborate with my peers, demonstrating teamwork by sharing responsibilities and supporting each other to achieve our common goals during group projects.
