ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ My progress in both my math competency and the communication portion of my core competency was shown by the completion of several assessments and my Scale Factor Project. My mathematics knowledge from the recent tasks has enabled me to successfully explain and demonstrate math ideas to my peers who have struggled with math this semester. I was able to make my points understandable to my peers and improve their understanding of the concepts. I was able to demonstrate my ability to think logically and solve problems as I worked with shapes, calculated proportions, and took precise measurements. I was able to precisely identify and understand the original shapes as well as their scaled equivalents thanks to these approaches. Math was a hard subject for me in the eighth grade. I received an overall grade of developing and emerging/developing on nearly all of the tests. I was aware that I was capable of more. I gave an immense amount of effort this year, and as a result, I received proficiency and high proficiency on every test and assignment. Increasing the amount of healthy foods in my diet is one of the things I have been doing lately to stay healthier. I learned about the effects that whole grains, fruits, and vegetables have on our bodies. Not only are they delicious, but they are also packed with all the nutrients our bodies require for growth. My foods 10 class taught me about their advantages, and I’ve been interested ever since. I’ve participated in many enjoyable food classes with my classmates, where we collaborated to prepare delicious and nutritious meals. It involves taking responsibility for my own duties and collaborating in creating tasty and nourishing foods. I worked with my group to plan, prepare, and perform the recipes while highlighting the many duties and obligations that each team member had. Through this experience, I also gained useful skills like problem solving, teamwork, and communication. This is the dish my group and I created through using the skills listed above. ◦•●◉✿✿◉●•◦

Throughout my book report in English using PowerPoint on the book Caraval, I allowed my creativity to wander. I was inspired to design unique transitions to capture the mood of the game, which resembles a colourful and mysterious carnival. I have also picked interesting quotes from the book. Another idea I had was making a slide that showcased the many characters and their unique outfits and abilities. I attempted to include some interactive features, such as a quick game that is connected to the book, but I was unable to locate a website that would let me do so. I made the most of all of my senses by including visual elements that improved the liveness of my characterization of Caraval, such a unique transitions as I said before. I chose the song “Carousel” by Melaine Martinez for my presentation’s soundtrack given that it has a connection to the book and helps to set the right tone. I intended to include props for touch that would have allowed my audience to interact with the story physically, but they were all quite pricey, so I decided against it. For smell, I decided to wear a perfume that I thought would go well with Scarlett’s fragrance.

Conclusion:
╭┈──── ◌ೄ◌ྀ ˊˎ Overall, this year has been incredible, and I’ve grown and learned a lot throughout it. Over the course of the year, I have made a lot of unforgettable memories and discovered a new passion, science. Anticipating what lies ahead for me, I am excited to strive.
