Creating a Positive and Safe Digital Footprint
Personal/ Social Competency Reflection
My short/long term goal with my digital spaces is to be more “tech savy” which those include, how to properly use word and if, I am having a problem with my laptop like for example, having trouble making a new email address. Being more “tech savy” can help me in the future and help me in upcoming classes. Having the ability to fix something and to learn how to do those tasks myself, help to prepare me better for future references. My plan to achieve this goal is to use my laptop more often instead of using my phone. Including my laptop everyday while doing schoolwork such as researching or writing an essay, can help improve my skills by enforcing my day-to-day skills like homework to use my laptop.
I value achieving high marks by working hard and going beyond what is asked for. I try my best to look for the bigger picture and focus on what I am learning. This informs me that, if I want to achieve high marks that I expect of myself, I should reduce my time on my phone using apps such as Snapchat and TikTok. To achieve this goal of receiving high marks I should put more dedication and effort into my work to earn a higher mark.
By supporting and checking up on my friends online, I make a positive difference to my peers.
