CLE 10: Me Card

My Me Card resembles the different parts of my life. It exemplifies valued aspects of my life and skills that I like to continue to develop.

Passions

Exercise, music and basketball are some of my passions. I began exercising in 2020 and enjoyed it instantly. It has since become a significant part of my routine as it helps me feel healthier and happier. On the contrary, music has always been a big part of my life. The composition of harmonies and melodies has helped me stay focused and calm. Lastly, I started playing basketball in Grade 9 and have made countless memories. The sport has allowed me to relieve stress and meet new people.

Future Plans

I plan to have a family, become an English teacher or professor, and help others. English has always been my favourite subject, so teaching it would be equally fun. I also love helping people as it is fun and makes me happy to see others happy.

Values

I value God, my family and kindness. I believe it is essential to be kind to everyone, for a kind word can make someone smile. A simple hug, compliment, or thank you is sometimes what a person needs. God is also an essential part of my life. He has done so much, so I try to put him first in everything. Lastly, I value my family for they always loved, cared for, and helped me. They helped guide me into the person I am today.

Skills

My skills include cooking, playing the ukulele, and baking. I started playing the instrument in 2018 when my sister gifted it for Christmas. It is a fun, simple instrument with a joyous sound and lovely tone. Similarly, I began baking and cooking in 2018. From that point on, I have made cookies, cupcakes, pasta, bread, fried chicken, fries, muffins, and much more. My brother is my biggest supporter, as he loves the recipes I use when baking and cooking.
