Conics Project

In my Conics project, I attempted to recreate my face. I chose various circles to create afro hair. These black circles were inequalities, emulating the common hair of Nigerian people. I chose a hyperbola to create the bridge of my nose. The bottom of my nose was two ellipses arranged to reflect my wider, button nose. My mouth was of ellipses too, though the size may have been exaggerated. I used parabolas to make the shape of my eyes, and the bottom shape of my face. The circle portions of my inner eyes (iris and pupils) were made of circles. My neck was made using a hyperbola to create the classic concave shape. Lastly, I made a brown star because I thought it was cute. I feel like it could represent how all people are stars, no matter if they are Black, Brown, White, and all skin tones beyond and in between!
