My Learning of CPR
I learned that Heart Attacks could happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime. However, one can take precautions to lower the chance of experiencing one. The critical takeaway is to act fast, diligently, and responsibly to assist a person who needs CPR. This unit connects to the previous one as it is about how a healthy lifestyle can positively affect you and reduce your chance of getting heart disease.
Core Competency Reflection
One of the ways I can see using this learning to help others is by teaching it to my family and friends. One area of CPR in which I’d like to spend more time learning is how to know if I am pushing too hard or deep. In discussions and conversations, I help to build and extend understanding by listening to others’ thoughts and applying them to what I have learned.
