Should Our Criminal Justice System Be More Punitive or Rehabilitative? Why?

It is rehabilitative because it prevents our society from becoming like America. Their Criminal Justice System is more punitive than rehabilitative, and their crime rates are significantly higher than Canada’s. Therefore, rehabilitation seems to be the most effective means of punishing offenders.

Critical and Reflective Thinking

I believe I can analyze evidence to make judgements through the responses I gave in the OJ assignments, the Ganja Queen assignment, and the Death Penalty assignment. In those assignments, I analyzed the data given in each project, to then form a conclusion that considered all aspects of the evidence. Through these activities, I learned to look beyond the evidence to find information not given specifically. I would like to grow in finding deeper information, so my projects may be exemplary.
