Technology and Wellbeing Reflection

When I am stressing out I found some coping mechanisms that relieve some of the pressure, some of which involves technology, some of which does not. Having comfort shows help out with stress to distract me, South Park helps me laugh, while Greys Anatomy helps me feel all sorts of emotions. Music is also a big help when I am stressed, music is like an escape from everything, it shows me that others have felt the same way I do, or the loudness of other music I enjoy blasts away the thoughts. Some days I just need something to boost my mood so blasting my favorite kinds of music makes me happy and jumpy. I also knit when I have free time or I am stressed, it usually goes along with music or my shows, but if I need a break from technology it helps.
Core Competency Reflection
-I can explain when something is unfair and advocate for others, when i see that someone or something is unfair or being treated unfairly, i am not afraid to speak up and make my opinion clear. I tend to be a quiet, anti-social to most people unless I am seen with certain friends, but if there is something that gets to be a lot or it pushes me past my limits of hearing or seeing with others, I get a random burst of being able to push past my social anxiety. -I take action to support diversity and defend human rights, I have many personal beliefs with society, including stuff that is always discussed about in life and through technology. My beliefs do take the side of supporting diversities, and defending peoples rights as who they are, and how they choose to be. -I demonstrate respectful, inclusive behavior, I always try to have a respectful behavior, and almost constantly I feel that I do. Yet, if someone is being disrespectful to me, a friend, or anyone for that matter, I admit I start to lose my respectful side a bit.
