Personal/Social Competency Reflection
I know that my digital footprint can have positive consequences, such as allowing me to share my thoughts, findings, and achievements. But it can also have negative consequences, such as giving out my personal information if I’m not careful. I adjust my actions to make sure that I don’t give away personal information and don’t post things I’ll regret later, while still using my digital presence as a means to make a positive impression.
My strengths as a digital citizen include making study resources for myself and others. They contribute to my community because some people (myself included) find it helpful to study for quizzes by using Quizlets that are relevant to what we need to know.
Some short/long term goals with my digital spaces include:
- Using Edublogs or other means to share news and resources for a chess club myself and Adi plan to start this year
- Seeing what other people have to say on their Edublogs as well
- Continuing to use Quizlets and similar sites to create study resources that can benefit myself and my peers
- Using Microsoft Teams to ask questions when I need to for homework and assignments
