What’s New:
Firstly, if you want to join the new chess club team, find the updated link at the top of the site. Please wait for verification.
IMPORTANT: Our new meeting room is B206. Chess club is still Thursdays after school.
- We’ve contacted a bunch of other schools, with the help of… other schools, so now we have:
- Centennial
- Charles Best
- Port Moody
- Gleneagle
- Pinetree
- Terry Fox
- (and iHub, but there’s technically no chess club there yet)
We’ve decided to join SD43 Junior Chess Association, rather than the other way around, and we’re planning an OTB tournament fairly soon. Stay tuned!
What Isn’t:
We’re using the same Lichess team as last year, so you don’t have to join anything extra if you did last year. For those of you that are new, please find the link at the top of the site.
We’ve also made a Chess.com team, which can also be found at the top of the site. Verification may be necessary.
