Since I’m not a very active person and would like to spend my free time well, some of the things I plan to do to stay mentally and physically healthy include:
- Taking the time to work on my IDS so I can learn new things while still doing something I enjoy
- Knowing the things that I like to do and not spending all of my time just doing the least active ones (e.g. working on paper airplanes or playing badminton rather than sitting at my computer playing games)
- Taking short stretches every 15-30 minutes when using technology, and stretching occasionally during other times
- Avoiding passive activities, or activities by myself (as opposed to active activities with friends)
Some of the intentional actions or decisions I plan to take to make my community better include:
- Trying to grow our chess club and connect with more schools
- Joining peer tutoring, joining a few clubs this year, and possibly trying to “get involved” in other ways
- Making study and other resources that others can use in my classes, and helping those who need it
