What’s New:
Firstly, if you want to join the new chess club team, we don’t have a link yet, so it’s probably best to email me (click on “My Email” at the top of the site). The lichess.org and chess.com links at the top still work, although you may need to email me or someone else in the club (or join the Microsoft Team) for access. If you were in any of these teams last year, you will be this year. If you want to leave the Microsoft Team, you can just ask in one of the channels.
IMPORTANT: Our new meeting room is F204, which is in the gym building, second floor. Chess club is now Tuesdays AND Thursdays after school. Our new sponsor is Mr. Little.
Our chess club is part of the SD43 Junior Chess Association (SD43JCA), which coordinates with the BC Junior Chess Association (BCJCA) which has 300+ members! You can gain access to both of these by joining the Microsoft Team.
There is also a tournament coming up! The details are below.
