Buddha Bowls

This recipe I really enjoyed ! It was probably one of the healthiest labs we have done so far in the semester. It included all food groups and was so delicious. It was definitely a knife skill method type of lab, I used all different types of cuts on my vegetables. I chiffonade my kale, cubed my sweet potato, sliced my avocado, chopped my mango and diced my broccoli. We had to roast one vegetable for this lab so I chose to roast my sweet potato, I seasoned it with cumin, salt and pepper. They turned out excellent. All the flavours incorporated together worked so well.

I gave myself a 5 on this lab because it was one of my favourite labs we’ve done yet and I did a really good job with it. It was healthy and filling, it would be a great dish for any meal of the day. I would definitely make this recipe again.
